Cox's Bazar

In September 2017 I visited Cox’s Bazar (Bangladesh), home to more than half a million persecuted Rohingya refugees from Myanmar. Since August 25th 2017, more than half a million Rohingya have fled to neighboring Bangladesh to escape killings and other mass atrocities being conducted in Rakhine State, Myanmar. In September 2017 I visited Cox’s Bazar, a district not only known for its beautiful unbroken stretch of sandy beach, but also for being home to a large number of old and new refugee camps which house the long persecuted Rohingya refugees from Myanmar.
